Enfield SMLE No.1 Mk.III Drill Rifle

These rifles will be missing a combination of the following parts. Magazine, front & rear handguards, safety, buttplate, etc.

Stock and forend are in good, servicable condition. Minor cracks may be present, however these have been screened for large cracks or major wood damage. Will include bolt assembly, however bolts were not checked for complete firing pin.

About these rifles.

Either completely manufactured or refurbished at Rifle Factory Ishapore in India, these rifles were retired from service and deactivated by drilling a hole through the chamber and barrel. Additionally, the chambers of these rifles have now been plugged. These rifles were intended for Drill use or as a training aid in familiarization and operation of the SMLE rifle. These rifles are a great source of parts and simply look great as a wall hanger. Although completely deactivated, these are still considered by BATF as firearms and must go to a licensed dealer or C&R holder.
